  • Toss the foam-based cleanser. Try the oil cleansing method instead. The benefit of using the OCM is that you are not stripping your skin of its natural oils. You are using oils to remove impurities and replace the dirty oil with clean oil that protects and promotes the natural balance of your skin. Recommended oils: avocado, jojoba, and sweet almond.


  • Swap out alcohol-based toners. These often strip the skin of its natural oils. Try a natural setting spray/toner mist that contains aloe vera extract. It is useful for helping dry, flaking itchy skin from rashes or eczema.


  • Choose a healthy foundation. Wear foundation with natural skincare built-in. It will keep the skin moisturized and protected.
