Payments
Payment may be requested once you have earned $100 in cash commission. All payments are issued via PayPal. The commission will be paid on the order price after discounts but before shipping, taxes, and tips.
Expiration of earnings
Your earnings will only expire if we discontinue our Affiliate Program.
Activity and promotion requirements
An activity required of Affiliates with Laws of Nature Cosmetics is to promote at least once a month, primarily on Instagram and secondarily on Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, a personal blog, or website, with your first promotion within your first 30 days.
We will support you and hope you will promote us much more.
Affiliates will receive 1-3 products per quarter in a single shipment.
Affiliates must create one piece of content for each product in their shipment. All content must be submitted for pre-approval within 30 days of receiving your products (required). This ensures alignment with our brand values and provides enough time to plan your posts.
In addition, all sponsored content must mention or tag the Laws of Nature Cosmetics products only. Do not add watermarks to sponsored/UGC content.
Laws of Nature Cosmetics reserves the right to withhold posting any submitted Affiliate UGC content upon approval and review. This decision is at the company’s sole discretion to ensure alignment with our brand values and standards.
AFFILIATE UGC SUBMISSIONS
Complete the Affiliate UGC Submission form on our website to submit all sponsored content to us—no email or social media direct message submissions. We will review and respond to all submissions within 24 hours.
Gift products
Laws of Nature Cosmetics will ship 1-3 gift products to Affiliates per quarter, in line with the company’s marketing objectives. Please confirm that Laws of Nature Cosmetics has your current shipping address by notifying them by email and accessing your Affiliate Dashboard.
Please note: By receiving gift products, Laws of Nature Cosmetics Affiliates must fulfill the activity and promotion requirements and create original user-generated content (UGC), show our product(s) in photos or videos, and tag our company’s social media page(s) or link to us on your blog or website (pre-approval required).
Before posting, Laws of Nature Cosmetics may edit the provided content (e.g., trim videos, add design elements, etc.) to align with the company’s branding and marketing objectives.

FTC disclosure requirements
Recently, the FTC updated its Affiliate disclosure policy and endorsement guidelines to include additional disclosures for social media influencers. Some of the most important highlights that pertain to Affiliate marketers include the following:
• Affiliates must clearly and conspicuously disclose relationships with merchants, brands, or products on their social media and websites.
• must be located close to the “triggering item” or recommendation.
• The disclaimer must be written in language that is clear and understandable.
To be FTC compliant, add ONE of the following approved hashtags at the top of the social media post caption area:

• Always correctly spell and capitalize our product names to maintain brand consistency and visibility. For example, use Skin Tint Foundation instead of “skin tint foundation”.
• Include hashtag #lawsofnaturecosmetics in all sponsored posts.
• Always tag our official handle @lawsofnaturecosmetics in your posts and stories so we can share your content too!
Inactivity
Affiliates who do not receive any Affiliate orders for 12 months will become inactive and will need to register again to become active.
Any unpaid earnings of $25 or more will be sent to the Affiliate upon closing the Affiliate’s account.
Independent contractors
You and Laws of Nature, LLC ("Laws of Nature Cosmetics") are independent contractors. Nothing in the Affiliate Program terms and conditions will create any partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, sales representative, or employment relationship between the parties. You will have no authority to make or accept any offers or representations on our behalf.
Termination
Either you or we may end this Agreement AT ANY TIME, with or without cause, by giving the other party written notice. Written notice can be delivered by mail, email, or fax. In addition, this Agreement will terminate immediately upon any breach of this Agreement by you.
Indemnification
You hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Laws of Nature Cosmetics, and its subsidiaries and Affiliates, and their directors, officers, employees, agents, shareholders, partners, members, and other owners, against any claims, actions, demands, liabilities, losses, damages, judgments, settlements, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) (any or all of the foregoing hereinafter referred to as "Losses") insofar as such Losses (or actions in respect thereof) arise out of or are based on (i) any claim that our use of the Affiliate trademarks infringes on any trademark, trade name, service mark, copyright, license, intellectual property, or another proprietary right of any third party, (ii) any misrepresentation of a representation or warranty or breach of a covenant and Agreement made by you herein, or (iii) any claim related to your site, including, without limitation, content therein not attributable to us.
Promotion restrictions
A.) You are free to promote your websites, but naturally, any promotion that mentions Laws of Nature Cosmetics or www.lawsofnaturecosmetics.com could be perceived by the public or the press as a joint effort. You should know that Laws of Nature Cosmetics invariably prohibit certain forms of advertising. For example, advertising commonly referred to as "spamming" is unacceptable to us and could damage our reputation. Other generally prohibited forms of advertising include unsolicited commercial email (UCE), postings to non-commercial newsgroups, and cross-posting to multiple newsgroups at once. In addition, you may not advertise in any way that effectively conceals or misrepresents your identity, your domain name, or your return email address. You may use mailings to customers to promote Laws of Nature Cosmetics, so long as the recipient is already a customer or subscriber of your services or website, and recipients have the option to remove themselves from future mailings. Also, you may post to newsgroups to promote Laws of Nature Cosmetics so long as the newsgroup specifically welcomes commercial messages. At all times, you must clearly represent yourself and your websites as independent from Laws of Nature Cosmetics. If it comes to our attention that you are spamming, we will consider that cause for immediate termination of this Agreement and your participation in the Laws of Nature Cosmetics Affiliate Program. Any pending balances owed to you will not be paid if your account is terminated due to such unacceptable advertising or solicitation.
B.) Affiliates that among other keywords or exclusively bid in their Pay-Per-Click campaigns on keywords such as lawsofnaturecosmetics.com, Laws of Nature Cosmetics, www.lawsofnaturecosmetics, www.lawsofnaturecosmetics.com, and/or any misspellings or similar alterations of these – be it separately or in combination with other keywords – and do not direct the traffic from such campaigns to their own website before redirecting it to ours, will be considered trademark violators, and will be banned from Laws of Nature Cosmetics's Affiliate Program. We will do everything possible to contact the Affiliate before the ban. However, we reserve the right to expel any trademark violator from our Affiliate Program without prior notice and on the first occurrence of such PPC bidding behavior.
C.) Affiliates are not prohibited from keying in prospects’ information into the lead form as long as the prospects’ information is accurate and true, and these are valid leads (i.e., sincerely interested in Laws of Nature Cosmetics' products and services).
D.) Affiliate shall not transmit any so-called "interstitials," "Parasiteware™," "Parasitic Marketing," "Shopping Assistance Application," "Toolbar Installations or Add-ons," "Shopping Wallets" or "deceptive pop-ups and/or pop-unders" to consumers from the time the consumer clicks on a qualifying link until the consumer has fully exited Laws of Nature Cosmetics's site (i.e., no page from our site or any lawsofnaturecosmetics.com's content or branding is visible on the end-user's screen). As used herein. "Parasiteware™" and "Parasitic Marketing" shall mean an application that (a) through accidental or direct intent causes the overwriting of Affiliate and non affiliate commission tracking cookies through any other means than a customer initiated click on a qualifying link on a web page or email; (b) intercepts searches to redirect traffic through an installed software, thereby causing, pop ups, commission tracking cookies to be put in place or other commission tracking cookies to be overwritten where a user would under normal circumstances have arrived at the same destination through the results given by the search (search engines being, but not limited to, Google, MSN, Yahoo, Overture, AltaVista, Hotbot and similar search or directory engines); (c) set commission tracking cookies through loading of Laws of Nature Cosmetics site in iFrames, hidden links and automatic pop ups that open lawsofnaturecosmetics.com’s site; (d) targets text on web sites, other than those web sites 100% owned by the application owner, for the purpose of contextual marketing; (e) removes, replaces or blocks the visibility of Affiliate banners with any other banners, other than those that are on web sites 100% owned by the owner of the application.
Our Affiliate Program Terms, Conditions, and Overview are subject to change at our discretion to ensure they are most beneficial to Laws of Nature Cosmetics and our Affiliates. Laws of Nature Cosmetics reserves the right at its own discretion to refuse any application to become an Affiliate or Professional Makeup Artist Affiliate.
